and with every living creature that is with you, the birds, the livestock, and every beast of the earth with you; of all that comes out of the ark, every beast of the earth.


You cause the grass to grow for the cattle, and vegetation for the cultivation of man, that he may bring forth food from the earth,


Your righteousness is like the great mountains, Your judgments are like the great deep; O  Lord, You preserve man and beast.


Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord. Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.


So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed and returned home and lived in Nineveh.


For before the child shall know to refuse the evil and choose the good, the land that you dread shall be forsaken of both her kings.


“Get up, go to Nineveh, the great city, and cry out against it, because their wickedness has come up before Me.”


When God saw their actions, that they turned from their evil ways, He changed His mind about the disaster that He had said He would bring upon them, and He did not do it.


The Lord said, “You are troubled about the plant for which you did not labor and did not grow. It came up in a night and perished in a night.


Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, even as I had pity on you?’


Moreover, your little ones, who you said would be a prey, and your children, who in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in, and to them will I give it, and they shall possess it.
