in order to confirm these days of Purim at their appointed times, as Mordecai the Jew and Queen Esther had instituted for themselves and for their offspring, with the instructions for their times of fasting and their lamenting.


Moses told Aaron all the words of the Lord who had sent him, and all the signs which He had commanded him.


You therefore gird up your loins and arise, and speak to them all that I command you. Do not be dismayed at their faces, lest I confound you before them.


But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am a youth.’ For you shall go everywhere that I send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak.


You shall speak My words to them, whether they listen or not, for they are rebellious.


Son of man, I have made you a watchman to the house of Israel. Whenever you hear the word from My mouth, then warn them from Me.


“Get up, go to Nineveh, the great city, and cry out against it, because their wickedness has come up before Me.”


The word of the Lord came to Jonah a second time, saying,


So Jonah got up and went to Nineveh, according to the word of the Lord. Now Nineveh was an exceedingly large city, a three-day journey across.


Therefore, bear fruit worthy of repentance,


Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have become whole. Sin no more lest something worse happens to you.”
