“Behold, I know your thoughts, and the schemes with which you would wrong me.


His wrath was aroused also against his three friends because they had found no answer and yet had condemned Job.


And so it was, that after the Lord had spoken these words to Job, the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is kindled against you and against your two friends, for you have not spoken of Me what is right as My servant Job has.


The blind receive their sight and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.


When Jesus heard this, He said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified by it.”


Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?”


When the natives saw the creature hanging from his hand, they said to one another, “Surely this man is a murderer. Though he has escaped from the sea, the goddess Justice has not allowed him to live.”


When they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way to punish them, because of the people. For all glorified God for what was done,


And we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.


In this way the love of God was revealed to us, that God sent His only Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
