As the Lord your God lives, there is no nation or kingdom where my lord has not looked for you, and when they said, ‘He is not here,’ he made the kingdom and nation swear that they could not find you,


His bones are full of his youthful vigor, but it will lie down with him in the dust.


When a wicked man dies, his hope will perish, and the expectation of the iniquitous comes to nothing.


The wicked is banished in his wickedness, but the righteous has a refuge in his death.


There shall no longer be an infant who lives only a few days, nor an old man who has not filled out his days. For the child shall die at one hundred years old, but the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed.


For I tell you, you shall not see Me again until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.’ ”


“Then He will say to those at the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the eternal fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.


“And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”


He said this to signify by what kind of death He would die.


Then Jesus said to them, “Yet a little while the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you. He who walks in darkness does not know where he is going.


“Little children, yet a little while I am with you. You will seek Me. And as I said to the Jews, so now I tell you, ‘Where I am going, you cannot come.’


You will look for Me and you will not find Me. And where I am, you cannot come.”


What kind of saying is this which He said, ‘You will look for Me and you will not find Me. And where I am, you cannot come’?”


Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins. For unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”


And you were dead in your trespasses and sins,
