The Queen of the South will rise up at the judgment with this generation and will condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon. And behold, something greater than Solomon is here.


Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again,


Our fathers worshipped on this mountain, but you all say that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.”


So He came to a city of Samaria which is called Sychar, near the plot of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.


Jacob’s well was there. Jesus, therefore, being exhausted from His journey, sat down by the well. It was about the sixth hour.


Are You greater than our father Abraham, who died? The prophets are dead! Who do You make Yourself out to be?”


For the One was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, in that He who builds the house has more honor than the house itself.
