Unto You do I lift up my eyes, O You who are enthroned in the heavens.


Like a crane or a swallow, so I twitter; I mourn as a dove; my eyes look wistfully upward. O  Lord, I am oppressed; undertake for me.


When He returned a third time, He said to them, “Are you still sleeping and taking your rest? It is enough! The hour has come. Look, the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.


“But the tax collector, standing at a distance, would not even lift his eyes to heaven, but struck his chest, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner.’


Daily, while I was with you in the temple, you did not lay hands on Me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness!”


When Jesus heard this, He said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified by it.”


So they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.


Jesus answered them, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.


Now before the Passover Feast, Jesus knew that His hour had come to depart from this world to the Father. Having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.


Behold, the hour is coming. Yes, it has now come that you will be scattered, each to his own home, and will leave Me alone. Yet I am not alone, for the Father is with Me.


So they tried to seize Him, but no one laid hands on Him, because His hour had not yet come.


By this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believe in Him would receive. For the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.


Jesus spoke these words in the treasury, as He taught in the temple. No one arrested Him, for His hour had not yet come.


The God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified His Son Jesus, whom you handed over and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release Him.


Through Him you believe in God who raised Him up from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope might be in God.
