While he was in Gibeon, the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream at night, and He said, “Ask what you want from Me.”


for then you will delight yourself in the Almighty, and will lift up your face unto God.


I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I have esteemed the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.


Your word have I hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.


Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.


The fear of the wicked will come upon him, but the desire of the righteous will be granted.


he taught me and said to me, “Let your heart retain my words; keep my commandments, and live.


Then your light shall break forth as the morning, and your healing shall spring forth quickly, and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.


Your words were found and I ate them. And Your word became to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart, for I am called by Your name, O  Lord God of Hosts.


“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you.


I will do whatever you ask in My name, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.


You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that the Father may give you whatever you ask Him in My name.


On that day you will ask Me nothing. Truly, truly I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give it to you.


Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you remain in My word, then you are truly My disciples.


I know that you are Abraham’s seed. But you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you.


But he is under tutors and governors until the time appointed by the father.


I say then, walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.


These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be in your heart.


Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.


I have written to you, fathers, because you have known Him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one.


But the anointing which you have received from Him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. For as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and just as it has taught you, remain in Him.


And whatever we ask, we will receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.


This is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
