God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.


For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.


I will ransom them from the power of Sheol. I will redeem them from Death. O Death, where are your plagues? O Sheol, where is your sting? Compassion is hidden from My eyes.


He strictly ordered them to let no one know of it and directed them to give her something to eat.


“Then another came, saying, ‘Master, look, here is your pound, which I have kept put away in a napkin.


He who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He gave him to his mother.


Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.”


When He had said this, He cried out with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!”


Then they took the body of Jesus and wrapped it in linen cloths with the spices, as is the burial custom of the Jews.


Stooping down and looking in, he saw the linen cloths lying. Yet he did not enter.


and the cloth that was around His head, not lying with the linen cloths, but wrapped in a place by itself.


For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom He will.


Truly, truly I say to you, the hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.


who will transform our body of humiliation, so that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working of His power, even to subdue all things to Himself.


I am He who lives, though I was dead. Behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.
