But He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”


“But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We do not want this man to reign over us.’


He was in the world, and the world was created through Him, yet the world did not know Him.


Yet to all who received Him, He gave the power to become sons of God, to those who believed in His name,


Then He said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” From that time, this disciple took her to his own home.


He bears witness of what He has seen and heard, yet no one receives His testimony.


“Brothers, sons of the family of Abraham, and those of you who fear God, the word of this salvation has been sent to us.


Then Paul and Barnabas boldly said, “It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first. But seeing you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles.


After bidding farewell to one another, we boarded the ship, and they returned home.


Now I say that Jesus Christ has become a servant to the circumcised on behalf of the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the patriarchs,


I am speaking the truth in Christ, I am not lying; my conscience testifies with me in the Holy Spirit,


to whom belong the patriarchs, and from whom, according to the flesh, is Christ, who is over all, God forever blessed. Amen.


But when the fullness of time came, God sent forth His Son, born from a woman, born under the law,
