I hate the double-minded, but Your law do I love.


Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.


If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me;


“How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? And how long will scoffers delight in their scoffing and fools hate knowledge.


Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.


I have seen your adulteries and your lustful neighings, the lewdness of your harlotry, and your abominations on the hills in the fields. Woe to you, O Jerusalem! How long will you remain unclean?


The sin of Judah is written with an iron pen and with a diamond point; it is engraved on the tablet of their heart and on the horns of their altars;


Now therefore speak to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying: Thus says the Lord: Behold, I am shaping disaster against you and devising a plan against you. Repent now, everyone from his evil way, and make your ways and your deeds good.


For though you wash yourself with lye, and take much soap, yet your iniquity is marked before Me, says the Lord God.


Hear, O earth. Behold, I will bring calamity on this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not listened to My words, nor to My law, but rejected it.


Cast away from you all your transgressions whereby you have transgressed, and make yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why will you die, O house of Israel?


Let none of you consider evil plans in your heart against your neighbor, and do not love false oaths, for I hate all these things, says the Lord.


“Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree corrupt and its fruit corrupt. For the tree is known by its fruit.


Then the Lord said to him, “Now you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and the dish. But inside you are full of extortion and wickedness.


Simon Peter said to Him, “Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!”


Therefore repent of your wickedness, and ask God if perhaps the intention of your heart may be forgiven you.


Because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him or give thanks to Him as God, but became futile in their imaginations, and their foolish hearts were darkened.


and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.”


Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
