When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.


As rivulets of water is the heart of a king in the hand of the Lord; wherever He pleases is where He directs it.


Will you let your eyes fly after that which is not? For such wealth certainly sprouts wings, flying away like an eagle to the heavens.


The Lord said: Truly I will set you free for good purposes. Truly I will cause the enemy to entreat you in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.


I will deliver you out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem you out of the hand of the violent.


For I will set My eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land. And I will build them up and not pull them down. And I will plant them and not pluck them up.


So Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, Nebushazban the Rabsaris, Nergal-sharezer the Rabmag, and all the chief officers of the king of Babylon


Now, behold, I release you this day from the chains which are on your hands. If it seems good to you to come with me to Babylon, come and I will look well after you. But if it seems bad to you to come with me into Babylon, never mind. See, all the land is before you. Go wherever it seems good and right for you to go.”


and though they go into captivity before their enemies, from there will I command the sword to slay them. I will set My eyes upon them for evil and not for good.


and delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favor and wisdom before Pharaoh, king of Egypt, who appointed him ruler over Egypt and all his house.
