before I go and do not return, even to the land of darkness and the shadow of death,


There were those who sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, prisoners in affliction and irons,


He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their bonds apart.


Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.


I will both lie down in peace and sleep; for You, Lord, make me dwell safely and securely.


Who among you fears the Lord, who obeys the voice of His servant, who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord, and rely upon his God.


The sun shall no longer be your light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you; but the Lord shall be an everlasting light to you and your God for your glory.
