Nevertheless, they did not turn aside from the sins of the house of Jeroboam, who caused Israel to sin, but walked in them. The Asherah pole also stood in Samaria.


Many times He delivered them, but they were rebellious in their counsel, and were brought low through their iniquity.


Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.


Add guilt to their iniquity, and let them not come into Your righteousness.


But when Pharaoh saw that there was relief, he hardened his heart and did not listen to them, as the Lord had said.


But as for you and your servants, I know that you will not yet fear the Lord God.”


However, when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders were ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.


For the turning away of the simple will slay them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them.


Moreover, I observed what was under the sun: In the place of justice, there was wickedness; and in the place of righteousness, there was wickedness.


Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, the heart of people is fully set to do evil.


How the faithful city has become a prostitute! She was full of justice; righteousness lodged in her, but now murderers.


Enter into the rock, and hide in the dust from the fear of the Lord and from the glory of His majesty.
