“So, your servant thought, ‘May the word of my lord the king provide rest. For like the angel of God, my lord the king discerns good from evil. May the Lord your God be with you.’ ”


Then the king said to the woman, “Go to your house, and I will give orders concerning you.”


All Israel heard of the king’s judgment, and they feared the king, for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him, to execute sound judgment.


Give Your servant therefore an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and bad, for who is able to judge among so great a people?”

For the ear tests words, as the mouth tastes food.


then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.


Then you will understand righteousness and justice and equity, every good path;


He shall be the stability of your times, a wealth of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is His treasure.


In the land shall be his possession in Israel. And My officials shall no more oppress My people. And the rest of the land they shall give to the house of Israel according to their tribes.


Then He will judge between many peoples and mediate for mighty nations far and wide; they will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, and they will no longer train for war.


And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and men.


and did not need anyone to bear witness of man, for He knew what was in man.


Do not judge according to appearance, but practice righteous judgment.”


But solid food belongs to those who are mature, for those who through practice have powers of discernment that are trained to distinguish good from evil.


But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him, for the Lord sees not as men see; they look on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
