In all of Israel, there was no man as handsome as Absalom. From the sole of his foot to the top of his head, there was not a blemish on him.


for He wounds, but He applies the bandage; He injures, but His hands also heal.


In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord; in the night my hand was stretched out without ceasing; my soul refused to be comforted.


Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lord binds up the breach of His people and heals the wound from His blow.


The heart is more deceitful than all things and desperately wicked; who can understand it?


For thus says the Lord: Your bruise is incurable and your wound is severe.


Why do you cry because of your affliction? Your sorrow is incurable. Because of the multitude of your iniquities, because your sins are numerous, I have done these things to you.


Behold, I will bring it health and healing, and I will heal them; and I will reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.


They have healed also the brokenness of the daughter of My people superficially, saying, “Peace, peace,” when there is no peace.


As a fountain casts out her waters, so she casts out her wickedness. Violence and devastation are heard in her; before Me continually are grief and wounds.


There is no healing of your injury, your wound is grievous. All who hear news about you clap their hands over you, for upon whom has not your wickedness continually passed?


But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. You will go out and grow up like calves from the stall.
