Moreover, Hushai said, “You know that your father and his men are warriors, and they have been provoked like a bear robbed of her cubs. Your father is a veteran of warfare. He will not spend the night with the people.


“Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver:


The boar from the woods ravages it, and the insects of the field devour it.


Better to meet a bear robbed of her cubs than a fool in his folly.


Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions; they shall roar and lay hold of the prey; and shall carry it away, and no one shall deliver it.


All you beasts of the field, all you beasts in the forest, come to devour.


My inheritance is to Me as a speckled vulture; the vultures all around are against her. Come, assemble all the beasts of the field, bring them to devour.


He has left His lair as the lion; for their land is desolate because of the fierceness of the oppressor and because of His fierce anger.
