3 He is the brightness of His glory, the express image of Himself, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had by Himself purged our sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

Yours, O  Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty, for everything in the heavens and the earth is Yours. Yours is the kingdom, O  Lord, and You exalt Yourself as head above all.


Fair weather comes out of the north; with God is terrible majesty.


The Lord said to my lord, “Sit at My right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.”


The earth and all its inhabitants are dissolving; I bear up its pillars.    Selah


For the word of the king is powerful, and who can say to him, “What are you doing?”


And the priest shall offer them, one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering, and the priest shall make atonement for him before the Lord for his discharge.


He will stand and shepherd in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God; then they will live securely, because now He will be great until the ends of the earth;


“Teacher, Moses said, ‘If a man dies having no children, his brother must marry his wife and raise up children for his brother.’


After the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat at the right hand of God.


The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, the glory as of the only begotten Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.


The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!


In Him was life, and the life was the light of mankind.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. For it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.


Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes, who is risen, who is also at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.


The god of this age has blinded the minds of those who do not believe, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.


If you then were raised with Christ, desire those things which are above, where Christ sits at the right hand of God.


who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all lawlessness and purify for Himself a special people, zealous of good works.


But to which of the angels did He at any time say: “Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies Your footstool” ?


But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God.


Let us look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.


Since then we have a great High Priest who has passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to our confession.


Unlike those high priests, He does not need to offer daily sacrifices—first for His own sins and then for the people’s, for He did this once for all when He offered up Himself.


Now this is the main point of the things that we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens,


For where there is a will, there must also of necessity be the death of the one who grants it.


For then He would have had to suffer repeatedly since the world was created, but now He has appeared once at the end of the ages to put away sin by sacrificing Himself.


Through Him you believe in God who raised Him up from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope might be in God.


who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels and authorities and powers being made subject to Him.


For we have not followed cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty.


For He received honor and glory from God the Father when a voice came to Him from the majestic glory, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”


But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.


You know that He was revealed to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.


to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen.


“To him who overcomes will I grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.


“You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You have created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.”
