The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh comes; and to him will be the obedience of the people.


And when the priests came out of the holy place, the cloud filled the house of the Lord,


so that the priests could not continue to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord.


And the priests were not able to stand in order to serve because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.


Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, You who lead Joseph like a flock; You who are enthroned between the cherubim, shine forth!


Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, that glory may dwell in our land.


They shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, from the fear of the Lord, and from the glory of His majesty, when He shall arise to shake the earth mightily.


Lift up your eyes all around, and see: They all gather themselves together; they come to you; your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be carried at your side.

He taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people tried to kill Him.


Led by the Spirit, he came into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law,


After three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions.


One day, as He taught the people in the temple and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes with the elders came up to Him,


And all the people came early in the morning to hear Him in the temple.


The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, the glory as of the only begotten Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.


And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel in advance to Abraham, saying, “In you shall all the nations be blessed.”


For in Him lives all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
