But I will establish My covenant with you; you must go into the ark—you, and your sons, and your wife, and your sons’ wives with you.


The Lord said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and your entire household, for I have seen that you alone are righteous before Me in this generation.


A prudent man foresees the evil and hides himself, but the simple pass on and are punished.


For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark,


They were eating, drinking, marrying, and were given in marriage until the day when Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.


By faith Noah, being divinely warned about things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark to save his family, by which he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.


So that by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us.
