23 So He blotted out every living thing which was on the face of the ground, both man and animals and the creeping things and the birds of the heavens. They were blotted out from the earth, and only Noah and those who were with him in the ark remained alive.

For behold, I will bring a flood of waters on the earth to destroy all flesh, wherever there is the breath of life under heaven, and everything that is on the earth will die.


So Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives went out.


In six crises He will deliver you; even in seven, disaster will not touch you.


He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.


A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.


Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.


“And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”


By faith Noah, being divinely warned about things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark to save his family, by which he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.


who in times past were disobedient, when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.


and if He did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly;


then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the Day of Judgment,


by which the world that then existed was flooded with water and perished.
