Adam had relations with his wife again, and she had another son and called his name Seth, for she said, “God has granted me another offspring instead of Abel, because Cain killed him.”


He created them male and female. He blessed them and called them Mankind in the day when they were created.


The days of Adam after he fathered Seth were eight hundred years, and he had other sons and daughters.


Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? There is no one.


How then can man be righteous with God? Or how can he who is born of a woman be clean?


Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me.
