So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.


God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”


The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to till it and to keep it.


Then Adam said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she will be called Woman, for she was taken out of Man.”


Adam lived one hundred and thirty years and fathered a son in his own likeness, after his own image, and called his name Seth.


Did He not make them one, having a remnant of the Spirit? And why one? He seeks godly offspring. So take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.


He answered, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’


But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female.’


He has made from one blood every nation of men to live on the entire surface of the earth, having appointed fixed times and the boundaries of their habitation,
