you shall say, ‘Your servants have been keepers of livestock from our youth even until now, both we and our fathers,’ so that you may dwell in the land of Goshen, because every shepherd is an abomination to the Egyptians.”


Israel lived in the land of Egypt, in the land of Goshen, and they had possessions there and grew and became very numerous.


The land of Egypt is before you. Have your father and your brothers dwell in the best of the land. Have them dwell in the land of Goshen, and if you know any capable men among them, then put them in charge over my livestock.”


Therefore they set taskmasters over them to afflict them with their labor. They built for Pharaoh storage cities: Pithom and Rameses.


Then the Israelites journeyed from Rameses to Sukkoth, about six hundred thousand men on foot, besides children.


They shall hang on him all the glory of his father’s house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the bowls to all the jars.


They set out from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month. On the day after the Passover the Israelites went out with a high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians,


The thief does not come, except to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.


I give them eternal life. They shall never perish, nor shall anyone snatch them from My hand.


In My Father’s house are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.


Jesus answered him, “If a man loves Me, he will keep My word. My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our home with him.


As You have given Him authority over all flesh, He will give eternal life to all whom You have given Him.


“Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, that they may see My glory which You have given Me. For You loved Me before the creation of the world.
