Here is how you will be tested. By the life of Pharaoh, you will not leave here unless your youngest brother comes here.


Nevertheless, bring your youngest brother to me so that your words may be verified and you shall not die.” And they did so.


He lifted up his eyes and saw his brother Benjamin, his mother’s son, and said, “Is this your younger brother of whom you spoke to me?” And he said, “God be gracious to you, my son.”


We said to my lord, ‘The boy cannot leave his father, for if he should leave his father, his father would die.’


For I will set My eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land. And I will build them up and not pull them down. And I will plant them and not pluck them up.


Now, behold, I release you this day from the chains which are on your hands. If it seems good to you to come with me to Babylon, come and I will look well after you. But if it seems bad to you to come with me into Babylon, never mind. See, all the land is before you. Go wherever it seems good and right for you to go.”


and though they go into captivity before their enemies, from there will I command the sword to slay them. I will set My eyes upon them for evil and not for good.
