And Abimelech said, “I do not know who has done this. You did not tell me, and I have not heard of it until today.”


Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What have you done?” And the woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”


But he refused and said to his master’s wife, “Behold, because of me my master does not concern himself with anything in the house, and he has committed all that he has to my charge.


And then He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying out to Me from the ground.


And Judah said, “What shall we say to my lord? What shall we speak? Or how shall we clear ourselves? God has found out the iniquity of your servants; behold, we are, my lord’s servants, both we and he also in whose possession the cup was found.”


Now when the people saw that Moses delayed coming down from the mountain, the people gathered themselves together around Aaron and said to him, “Come, make us gods which will go before us. As for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.”
