29 He lifted up his eyes and saw his brother Benjamin, his mother’s son, and said, “Is this your younger brother of whom you spoke to me?” And he said, “God be gracious to you, my son.”

The sons of Rachel were Joseph and Benjamin.


We are all one man’s sons. We are honest men. Your servants are not spies.”


They said, “Your servants are twelve brothers, the sons of one man in the land of Canaan, and behold, the youngest is with our father today, and one is no longer living.”


“You said to your servants, ‘Bring him down to me, so that I may set my eyes on him.’


“So now it was not you who sent me here, but God. He has made me a father to Pharaoh and lord of his entire household and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.


My people, do not now be negligent, for the Lord has chosen you to stand in His presence, to serve Him, and to be ministers and make sacrifices for Him.”


He has made His wonderful works to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and compassionate.


Unto the upright arises light in the darkness; he is gracious, compassionate, and righteous.


May God be gracious to us and bless us and make His face to shine upon us,    Selah


O people in Zion, inhabitants in Jerusalem, you shall weep no more. He will be very gracious to you at the sound of your cry. When He hears it, He will answer you.


O  Lord, be gracious to us; we have waited for You. Be our strength every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.


But now entreat God’s favor, that He may be gracious to us. With such offerings from your hands, will He accept you favorably? says the Lord of Hosts.

To Timothy, my true son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.


Then Joshua said to Achan, “O my son, give glory to the Lord, the God of Israel, and give Him praise! Tell me what you have done! Do not hold back anything from me.”
