After two whole years, Pharaoh had a dream that he was standing by the Nile.


And suddenly there came up out of the river seven cows, fattened and fine-looking, and they grazed in the reeds.


And behold, seven other cows, ugly and gaunt, came up out of the Nile after them, and stood by the other cows on the bank of the Nile.


Can the papyrus grow up without a marsh? Can the reed grow without water?


The canals shall emit a stench; the streams of Egypt shall diminish and dry up; the reeds and rushes shall wither.


The papyrus reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and everything sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no more.
