Within three days Pharaoh will lift up your head and restore you to your place, and you will deliver Pharaoh’s cup into his hand in the same way you did before when you were his cupbearer.


Then the chief cupbearer spoke to Pharaoh, saying, “Today I remember my offenses.


David said, “Is there still anyone left from the house of Saul to whom I may show kindness on behalf of Jonathan?”


“But show kindness to the sons of Barzillai the Gileadite, and let them eat at your table, for with such loyalty they supported me when I fled from your brother Absalom.


Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”


Were you called while a servant? Do not worry about it. But if you may become free, do so.


“So now, since I have acted faithfully toward you, please swear to me by the Lord that you will also act faithfully toward my father’s house. Please give me a firm pledge


that this will be no grief to you, nor an offense of heart to my lord, either that you have shed blood without cause, or that my lord has avenged himself. But when the Lord has dealt well with my lord, then remember your handmaid.”
