9 Then he dreamed another dream and told it to his brothers and said, “Behold, I have dreamed another dream. Behold, the sun, the moon, and eleven stars were bowing to me.”

But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night and said to him, “Behold, you are a dead man because of the woman whom you have taken, for she is a man’s wife.”


But when he told it to his father and his brothers, his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have dreamed? Will I and your mother and your brothers really come to bow down ourselves to you to the ground?”


Behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and behold, my sheaf rose up and stood upright. And behold, your sheaves stood around it and bowed down to my sheaf.”


His brothers said to him, “Will you really reign over us, or will you really have dominion over us?” So they hated him even more because of his dreams and his words.


Then Joseph said to Pharaoh, “The dreams of Pharaoh are one and the same. God has shown Pharaoh what He is about to do.


The reason the dream was repeated to Pharaoh twice is because the matter is established by God, and God will soon bring it to pass.


Now Joseph was the governor over the land, and it was he who sold to all the people of the land. So Joseph’s brothers came and bowed themselves down before him with their faces to the ground.


When Joseph came home, they brought into the house to him the present that they had with them and bowed themselves to him to the ground.


And they answered, “Your servant our father is in good health. He is still alive.” And they bowed down their heads and prostrated themselves.


When Judah and his brothers came to Joseph’s house, he was still there; and they fell to the ground before him.


My lord asked his servants, saying, ‘Have you a father or a brother?’


Hurry and go up to my father and say to him, ‘This is what your son Joseph says, “God has made me lord of all Egypt. Come down to me; do not delay.


Joseph readied his chariot and went up to Goshen to meet Israel his father. As soon as he appeared to him, he fell on his neck and wept on his neck a long time.


Joseph provided food for his father, his brothers, and his father’s entire household, according to the number of their children.


It grew great, even to the host of heaven. And it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground and stamped upon them.


He said, “Hear now My word. If there is a prophet among you, I the Lord will make Myself known to him in a vision, and I will speak to him in a dream.


that you may be blameless and harmless, sons of God, without fault, in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, in which you shine as lights in the world.
