Zilpah, Leah’s maid, gave Jacob a second son.


And the sons of Zilpah, Leah’s maidservant, were Gad and Asher. These are the sons of Jacob, which were born to him in Paddan Aram.


The sons of Asher were Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, Beriah, and Serah their sister. The sons of Beriah: Heber and Malkiel.


Asher’s food shall be rich, and he shall yield royal delicacies.


Her children rise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:


My dove, my perfect one, is the only one, the only daughter of her mother, special to the one who bore her. The young women saw her and called her blessed, the queens and concubines also, and they praised her.


For He has regarded the low estate of His servant. For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed.
