But he strongly insisted, so they turned aside with him and entered his house. Then he made them a feast and baked unleavened bread, and they ate.


So the child grew and was weaned. Then Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned.


They rose up early in the morning and swore an oath with one another. Isaac sent them away, and they departed from him in peace.


Then Jacob offered a sacrifice on the mountain and called his kinsmen to eat bread. And they ate bread and stayed all night on the mountain.


Then Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, took a burnt offering and sacrifices for God, and Aaron and all the elders of Israel came to eat bread with Moses’ father-in-law before God.


If it is possible, as much as it depends on you, live peaceably with all men.


Pursue peace with all men, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord,


Show hospitality to one another without complaining.
