As for Ishmael, I have heard you; behold. I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful and will multiply him exceedingly. He will be the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation.


So Esau went to Ishmael and took as his wife Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, the sister of Nebaioth, in addition to the wives he had.

Woe is me, that I dwell in Meshech, that I dwell among the tents of Kedar!


I am dark, but lovely, O daughters of Jerusalem, like the tents of Kedar, even the tent curtains of Salmah.


Let the wilderness and the cities lift up their voices, the villages that Kedar inhabits. Let the inhabitants of Sela sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.
