The angel of the Lord also said to her, “I will multiply your descendants exceedingly so that they will be too many to count.”


The angel of the Lord found her by a spring of water in the wilderness. It was the spring on the way to Shur.


One of them said, “I will certainly return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son.” And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.


Abraham called the name of that place The Lord Will Provide, as it is said to this day, “In the mount of the Lord it will be provided.”


and said, “By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son,


The angel of God spoke to me in a dream, saying, ‘Jacob.’ And I said, ‘Here I am.’


the angel who redeemed me from all evil, bless the boys; let them be called by my name, and the name of my fathers, Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.”


The angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed.


I have sworn by Myself, the word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness and shall not return, that to Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall take an oath.


then will I remember My covenant with Jacob, and also My covenant with Isaac, and also My covenant with Abraham, and I will remember the land.


On that day the Lord will defend those residing in Jerusalem; and even the one who stumbles among them will be as David on that day. And the house of David will be like God, like the angel of the Lord going out before them.


And the angel of the Lord admonished Joshua, saying,


“When forty years had passed, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount Sinai, in a flame of fire in a bush.


For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could vow by no one greater, He vowed by Himself,


The angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the earth lifted up his hand to heaven
