Genesis 21:1

I will bless her and also give you a son by her. I will bless her, and she will be the mother of nations. Kings of peoples will come from her.”


Then God said, “No, but your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call his name Isaac. I will establish My covenant with him as an everlasting covenant and with his descendants after him.


But I will establish My covenant with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this set time next year.”


One of them said, “I will certainly return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son.” And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.


Is anything too difficult for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, at this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”


Sarah my master’s wife bore a son to my master when she was old, and he has given to him all that he has.


Joseph said to his brothers, “I am about to die. God will surely come to you and bring you out of this land to the land of which He swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.”


But the woman conceived and bore a son at that season, at the time that Elisha had told her.

They will dash you, and your children within you, to the ground. They will not leave one stone upon another within you, because you did not know the time of your visitation.”


But he who was of the slave woman was born according to the flesh, but he of the free woman through the promise.


Now we, brothers, like Isaac, are the children of promise.

So she got up with her daughters-in-law to return from the land of Moab, for in the land of Moab, she had heard that the Lord had visited His people by giving them food.
