9 Then Abimelech called Abraham and said to him, “What have you done to us? How have I offended you that you would bring on me and on my kingdom a great sin? You have done things to me that should not have been done.”

Then Abimelech said to Abraham, “What were you thinking of, that you did this thing?”


So Abimelech rose early in the morning, and called all his servants and told them all these things, and the men were very afraid.


Abimelech said, “What is this you have done to us? One of the people might have easily lain with your wife, and you might have brought guilt upon us!”


And in the morning, behold, it was Leah. And he said to Laban, “What is this you have done to me? Did I not serve you for Rachel? Why then have you tricked me?”
