Now the men of Sodom were exceedingly wicked and sinners against the Lord.


Then the Lord said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave,


The whole congregation of the Israelites murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness.


You must not follow the masses to do evil, and do not testify in a dispute that agrees with the crowd to pervert justice.


For they do not sleep unless they have done evil; their sleep is taken away unless they make someone stumble.


a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil,


The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule by their own authority; and My people love to have it so. Yet what will you do in the end?


Both hands are upon evil, to do it well. The prince and the judge request the bribe, the powerful asserts the craving of his very soul— they intertwine together.


“Their feet are swift to shed blood;


As they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, who were wicked men, surrounded the house and pounded on the door. They said to the old man, the master of the house, “Bring out the man who came to your house, so we can have relations with him.”
