But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower that the sons of men built.


Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, so that they may not understand one another’s speech.”


Then the Lord said, “Should I hide from Abraham what I am doing,


And God saw the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.


There is no darkness nor shadow of death where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.


The Lord looks down from heaven on the sons of men, to see if there are any who are wise, who seek after God.


You have set our iniquities before You, our secret sins in the light of Your countenance.


Therefore, I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land to a good and spacious land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites.


For the Lord had said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘You are a stiff-necked people. If I went up among you for one moment, I might destroy you. Now therefore, take off your ornaments, so that I may know what I will do to you.’ ”


The sin of Judah is written with an iron pen and with a diamond point; it is engraved on the tablet of their heart and on the horns of their altars;


I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give to every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his deeds.


“Get up, go to Nineveh, the great city, and cry out against it, because their wickedness has come up before Me.”


Behold, the Lord is coming out from His place, so that He might come down and tread upon the high places of the earth.


At that time I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and I will punish the men who are settled on their dregs, who say in their heart, “The Lord will not do good, nor will He do evil.”


He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For that which is highly esteemed before men is an abomination before God.


For I came down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.


Why? Because I do not love you? God knows.


you must not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for the Lord your God is testing you, to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.


You must remember that the Lord your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you, and to prove you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.


For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.


There is no creature that is not revealed in His sight, for all things are bare and exposed to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.


“The Lord God of gods, the Lord God of gods, He knows, and may Israel know—if we have acted in rebellion or disloyalty against the Lord, do not spare us today.
