Then God said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you will not call her name Sarai, but her name will be Sarah.


Still, indeed, she is my sister. She is the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother. She became my wife.


Now after these things it was told to Abraham, “Behold, Milkah has also borne children to your brother Nahor:


Bethuel fathered Rebekah. Milkah gave birth to these eight to Nahor, Abraham’s brother.


Then the servant took ten of his master’s camels and departed, for all the goods of his master were in his hand. And he arose and went to the city of Nahor in Aram Naharaim.


Before he had finished speaking, behold, Rebekah, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milkah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham’s brother, came out with a pitcher on her shoulder.


She said to him, “I am the daughter of Bethuel the son of Milkah, whom she bore to Nahor.”
