21 So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters swarmed, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

Then God said, “Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures and let the birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of the heavens.”


Then God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let the birds multiply on the earth.”


So God made the beasts of the earth according to their kind, and the livestock according to their kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.


God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.


Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. Whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name.


Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal, and of every kind of creeping thing of the earth will come to you to be kept alive.


They and every wild animal according to its kind, and all the livestock according to their kind, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth according to its kind, and every bird according to its kind, every bird of every sort,


Bring out with you every living thing of all flesh that is with you, birds and animals, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, so that they may breed abundantly on the earth and be fruitful and multiply on the earth.”


Every beast, every creeping thing, every bird, and everything that moves on the earth, according to their families, went out of the ark.


Every beast of the earth and every bird of the sky and all that moves on the earth and all the fish of the sea will fear you and be terrified of you. They are given into your hand.


And as for you, be fruitful and multiply; increase abundantly in the earth and multiply in it.”


“But now ask the beasts, and let them teach you; and the birds of the air, and let them tell you;


“The departed spirits tremble under the waters, and their inhabitants.


Am I the sea, or a sea monster, that You set a guard over me?


Praise the Lord from the earth, you great sea creatures, and all the depths;


Nevertheless, the sons of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and became exceedingly mighty, so that the land was filled with them.


And the river will swarm with frogs, which shall go up and come into your house, and into your bedchamber, and on your bed, and into the houses of your servants, and on your people, and into your ovens, and into your kneading troughs.


Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt and say to him: You likened yourself to a young lion of the nations, but you are as the monster in the seas; and you burst forth in your rivers, and muddied the waters with your feet, and made foul their rivers.


Now the Lord appointed a great fish to swallow Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.


Then the Lord spoke to the fish, and it vomited Jonah out upon dry land.


For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
