God is a righteous judge, and God has indignation every day.


But the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart, so that he would not let the Israelites go.


So I will stretch out My hand and strike Egypt with all My wonders which I will perform in its midst, and after that he will let you go.


The Lord said to Moses, “When you go to return into Egypt, see that you do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in your hand, but I will harden his heart, so that he shall not let the people go.


Nevertheless, Pharaoh will not listen to you, so that I may lay My hand upon Egypt and bring forth My armies and My people, the Israelites, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.


Moreover, the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh, so that he did not listen to them, just as the Lord had spoken to Moses.


But, indeed, for this cause I have raised you up, in order to show in you My power, so that My name may be declared throughout all the earth.


Then Pharaoh sent and called for Moses and Aaron, and said to them, “I have sinned this time. The Lord is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.


“He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, lest they should see with their eyes and perceive with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.”


For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be proclaimed in all the earth.”


Therefore He has mercy on whom He wills, and He hardens whom He wills.


because the Lord hardened their hearts to engage Israel in battle. They destroyed them without mercy, to put them to death, as the Lord had commanded Moses.


Woe to us! Who will deliver us out of the hand of these mighty gods? These are the gods that struck the Egyptians with every plague in the wilderness.
