However, the quota of the bricks, which they were making previously, you shall lay upon them. You shall not diminish any of it, for they are idle. Therefore they cry out, saying, ‘Let us go and sacrifice to our God.’


Wrath is cruel and fury is a torrent, but who is able to stand before envy?


how our fathers went down into Egypt, and we lived in Egypt a long time, and the Egyptians distressed us and our fathers.


However, the Egyptians mistreated and afflicted us, and laid upon us harsh labor.
