But there were none compared to Ahab, who sold himself to evil deeds in the sight of the Lord, which Jezebel his wife stirred up.


Tremble before Him, all the earth. The world also is firmly established; it shall not be moved.


But now, because He has not punished in His anger, nor taken much notice of folly,


Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments.


He will bless those who fear the Lord, both small and great.


For you shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be happy, and it shall go well with you.


But the meek shall inherit the land, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.


Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth!


Therefore God dealt well with the midwives, and the people multiplied and grew very mighty.


Disaster pursues sinners, but prosperity is the reward of the righteous.


Blessed is the man who is always reverent, but he who hardens his heart will fall into calamity.


This is the end of the matter; all has been heard. Now fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind.


I have perceived that everything that God has done will be lasting. And to this there is nothing to be added, and from it there is nothing to be taken away. God has done this so that in His presence people fear Him.


And this also is a grave misery: As he entered, so will he leave; what benefit is there to the one who toils for the wind?


For when there is an abundance of dreams and futilities, then words increase too. Therefore it is God you should fear.


I have seen everything in my vain life: There is the righteous person who dies in his righteousness; and there is the wicked person who prolongs his life in his wickedness.


It is good that you take hold of these two sayings, and from these warnings, remove not your hand; for the one who fears God will follow them both.


They are not humbled even to this day, nor have they feared, nor have they walked in My law and My statutes that I set before you and before your fathers.


“Then the King will say to those at His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you since the foundation of the world.


His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation.


But because of your hardness and impenitent heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself on the day of wrath when the righteous judgment of God will be revealed,


What if God, willing to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much patience the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,


You must not eat it, so that it may go well with you and with your children after you, when you do that which is right in the sight of the Lord.


Observe and hear all these words which I command you, so that it may go well with you and with your children after you forever, when you do that which is good and right in the sight of the Lord your God.


Therefore, you shall keep His statutes and His commandments which I command you this day, so that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and so that you may prolong your days in the land, which the Lord your God gives you, forever.


then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the Day of Judgment,
