And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and he said to King Jehoshaphat, “How do you help those who are wicked and love those who hate the Lord? Because of this, wrath has gone out against you from the Lord.


Did not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? Yet among many nations there was no king like him. He was loved by his God, who made him king over all Israel. Nevertheless, foreign women caused even him to sin.


He was hired for this reason: that I might become fearful, act accordingly, and sin. Then they would have an evil report by which they could reproach me.


For now it would be heavier than the sand of the sea; therefore my words are stuck in my throat.


And you must make with it a holy anointing oil, a perfumed compound, the work of a perfumer. It will be a holy anointing oil.


Wisdom is better than weapons of war, but one sinner can destroy much that is good.


If a man carries holy meat in the fold of his garment, and touches with his fold bread or stew, or wine or oil, or any food, will it become holy? The priests answered, “No.”


Then Haggai said, “If one who is unclean by contact with a dead body touches any of these, will it become unclean?” The priests answered, “It will become unclean.”
