How your garments are warm, when He quiets the earth by the south wind?


Out of the south comes the whirlwind, and cold out of the north.


For He commanded and raised the stormy wind, which lifted up the waves of the sea.


He made the storm to be calm, and the waves of the sea were hushed.


All the streams flow into the sea, and the sea is never filled up. And to the place where the streams flow, there they continually return to flow.


Just as you do not know the path of the wind, or how the bones grow to fullness in the womb of a woman with child; so you do not know the work of God who makes everything.


But the Lord hurled a great wind upon the sea, and a mighty storm came upon the sea, so that the ship was in danger of breaking up.


“Whoever hears these sayings of Mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock.


And the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house. And it fell. And its fall was great.”


The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
