If you lend money to any of My people who is poor among you, do not be to him a usurer, and do not lay upon him usury.


Now a slave does not remain in the house forever, but a son remains forever.


Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who are of the household of faith.


This is the manner of the relinquishing: Every creditor that has loaned anything to his neighbor shall relinquish it. He shall not exact it of his neighbor, or of his brother, because it is called the Lord’s relinquishment.


You may charge interest to a foreigner, but to your brother you may not lend with interest so that the Lord your God may bless you in all to which you set your hand in the land which you are entering to possess.


When you make a vow to the Lord your God, you must not be slow to pay it, for the Lord your God will surely require it of you, and it would be a sin to you.
