In the fourteenth year, Kedorlaomer and the kings who were with him came and defeated the Rephaites in Ashteroth Karnaim, the Zuzites in Ham, and the Emites in Shaveh Kiriathaim,


“You gave them kingdoms and nations, and You divided them as boundaries. They possessed the land of Sihon, which was the land of the king of Heshbon, and the land of Og, the king of Bashan.


Sihon, king of the Amorites, and Og, king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan,


Across the Jordan, in the land of Moab, Moses began to declare this law, saying:


I sent messengers out of the Wilderness of Kedemoth to Sihon, king of Heshbon, with words of peace, saying,


Then we turned and went up the way to Bashan, and Og, the king of Bashan, came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei.


We utterly destroyed them, as we did to Sihon, king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and sons of every city.


They possessed his land, and the land of Og, king of Bashan, the two kings of the Amorites, who were across the Jordan toward the east,
