“The king of the South shall be moved with rage, and shall go out and fight with him, with the king of the North, who shall raise a great multitude, but that multitude shall be given into his enemy’s hand.


As for the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away; yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.


After this I saw in the visions at night, and behold, there was a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and exceedingly strong. And it had great iron teeth. It devoured and broke in pieces, and stamped the rest with its feet. And it was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns.


It grew great, even to the host of heaven. And it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground and stamped upon them.


He came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran to him in the fury of his power.


Therefore the male goat grew very great. And when he was strong, the great horn was broken, and four conspicuous horns came up in its place toward the four winds of heaven.


They shall fall one upon one another, as to escape before the sword, though no one pursues, and you shall have no power to stand before your enemies.


So when the men of Ai looked back, behold, the smoke of the city ascended to heaven! So they had no power to feel this way or that way, and the people who had fled into the wilderness had turned back toward their pursuers.
