Joseph’s master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king’s prisoners were confined. So he was there in the prison.


And because of them a curse shall be taken up by all the captives of Judah who are in Babylon, saying, “May the Lord make you like Zedekiah and Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire,”


He commanded the most mighty men in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and cast them into the burning fiery furnace.


The officials, governors, and captains, and the king’s counselors, being gathered together, saw these men upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was a hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor had the smell of fire even come upon them.


And whoever does not fall down and worship shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.”


and will throw them into a fiery furnace. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
