and the fourth row a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper. They shall be set in gold filigree.


His arms are rods of gold, set with jewels. His body is carved ivory, inlaid with sapphires.


The living creatures ran to and fro as the appearance of a flash of lightning.


The appearance of the wheels and their work was like the color of sparkling beryl. And all four of them had one likeness. And their appearance and their work was, as it were, a wheel in the middle of a wheel.


When they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of abundant waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the noise of a tumult as the noise of an army camp. Whenever they stood still, they let down their wings.


Their legs were straight and the soles of their feet were like the sole of a calf’s hoof. And they gleamed like the color of burnished bronze.


Then I looked, and behold, there were the four wheels by the cherubim, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub. And the appearance of the wheels was as the color of a beryl stone.


When he brought me there, behold, there was a man whose appearance was like the appearance of bronze, with a line of flax and a measuring reed in his hand. And he stood in the gate.


Then I looked, and behold, there was a likeness as the appearance of a man. From His loins and downward was the appearance of fire. And from His loins and upward was the appearance of brightness, as the appearance of glowing metal.

His countenance was like lightning, and his garments white as snow.

Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud and a rainbow on his head. His face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.


His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on His head are many crowns. He has a name written, that no one knows but He Himself.
