Then they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.


Foreigners lose heart; they gird themselves as they leave their fortresses.


And you say, ‘What does God know? Can He judge through the dark cloud?


There is no darkness nor shadow of death where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.


that you may bathe your foot in blood, and the tongues of your dogs may have their share from your enemies.”


In that day the Lord with His fierce and great and strong sword shall punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, even Leviathan the twisted serpent; and He shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.


Behold, I will send for many fishermen, says the Lord, and they shall fish for them; and afterwards I will send for many hunters, and they will hunt them from every mountain and from every hill and out of the holes of the rocks.


He said: The Lord roars from Zion and utters His voice from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds languish, the top of Carmel withers.
